LAST WEEK'S ROUND UP:  It was yet another week of business 
coming in a little bit each day, with price ranges a little 
more manageable, than the last several weeks. Northern 
dressed deals ranged from $148 to $155, mostly $153 to $155. 
The Southern live price range was $91 to $97, mostly $93 to 

According to the Thursday afternoon Mandatory reports weekly 
trade volumes were as follows: KS 25,467; NE 35,289; TX 
12,863; IA 26,010; CO not available due to confidentiality, 
decent for a holiday shortened week. Thursday's slaughter was 
estimated at 121,000 head, 1,000 more than the prior week, 
and not comparable to last year's holiday kill. It will be 
interesting to see this afternoon just how many head will be 
estimated for Friday and Saturday's kills.

DTN MORNING COMMENTS:  The country is quiet this morning with 
bids and asking prices not established. Significant trade 
volume may be delayed until Tuesday or later. Beef cutouts are 
expected to be lower with generally light box movement.

For the week ending June 20, 2020, Imported Beef Passed for 
Entry in the U.S. totaled 40,086, 103.02% of the previous week 
and 100.66% of the 4-week average (note June 27 report is not 
available as of yet).
